Skills hub

Skill hub is Genstore's skill management center. Here, you can discover, install, and manage various skills, each corresponding to a specific business capability to help you efficiently complete various operational tasks.

Access skill hub

  1. Log in to the Genstore admin.
  2. Switch to the Chat tab in the top-left corner.
  3. Click Skills in the left navigation bar to enter the Skills Center.

Browse and discover skills

The Skills hub provides multiple ways to help you find the skills you need:

Browse by category

Top tabs are divided by business areas, covering the following categories:

  • Store management
  • Store operations
  • Sourcing & product
  • Marketing & content
  • Market analysis
  • Tools

Use the search box in the top-right corner to enter keywords and quickly locate relevant skills. For example, enter "Sourcing" or "Marketing".

Install and enable skills

Install skills

  1. Find the skill you need in the Skills Center.
  2. Click the skill card to view details, including its core features and applicable scenarios.
  3. Click +, and the skill will be added to your skill library.

Invoke skills in conversations

After activating a skill, you can invoke it in the following ways:

Method A: Slash command

Enter / in the conversation input box, and the system will automatically pop up a list of enabled skills. Select the corresponding skill to invoke it.

Method B: Natural language trigger

Describe your needs directly in natural language, and Genstore will automatically match relevant skills for processing.

For example:

  • "Analyze my store's sales data from last week"
  • "Help me generate a product description for a portable blender"
  • "Write a product promotion copy suitable for TikTok"

Disable and uninstall skills

  • Disable: Turn off the toggle on the skill card. The skill will no longer respond to calls but remains in your skill library.
  • Uninstall: Click the more options button in the bottom-right corner of the skill card and select uninstall. The skill will be removed.

FAQ

Q: Why isn't Genstore invoking a specific skill when I enter a command?

A: Please go to the Skills hub to check if the skill is installed and enabled. If external platform data is involved, please also check if the corresponding connector is successfully connected.

Q: Do official skills require additional payment to activate?

A: Official skills are included in your plan at no extra cost. Third-party skills are priced by the developer, and specific fees are shown on the skill details page.

Q: If I uninstall a skill, will its historical output files be lost?

A: No. Uninstalling a skill only means you can no longer invoke it, but files previously generated by the skill and archived in the Library will not be affected.
