404 Page
The 404 page informs visitors that the page they’re trying to access doesn’t exist. It helps improve user experience and guides customers back to the correct path. Genstore provides a standard 404 template that supports style customization and content updates, allowing you to maintain brand consistency and reduce bounce rates.
How to access
- Log in to your Genstore admin.
- Go to Online store -> Themes.
- Find your theme and click Customize to open the theme editor.
- In the top navigation bar, open the page selector and choose 404 page.
Style and layout settings
The 404 page supports basic visual adjustments. Common options include:
- Color mode: Switch between light or dark mode for visual consistency.
- Color scheme: Apply a color palette that matches your brand.
- Section spacing: Adjust vertical padding (none / small / medium / large / extra large).
- Custom CSS: For advanced users, add custom style code.
Add sections and apps
Beyond the default layout, you can enrich the 404 page by adding custom sections such as visuals, text, or branded media.
Add a section
In the Segment template area, click Add section and choose from these content types:

| Multi-column layout | Customize text-and-image layouts |
| Blog posts | Embed articles for content marketing |
| Scrolling text | Show scrolling messages for promotions, slogans, or alerts |

Add apps
In the Add section / Add block pop-up, select the Apps tab to add functional components such as:
- Related products
- Bestsellers
- Customers also viewed
- Trending items
