"Made with Genstore" branding badge

By default, the “Made with Genstore” brand attribution appears in the footer (bottom-right corner) of your store theme. This attribution helps build platform brand awareness and shows visitors which platform your store is built on.
If you are on a paid subscription plan, this attribution is automatically hidden so that only your own brand is displayed.

Why it matters

• Professional appearance: Removing the attribution ensures that only your brand elements are shown, making the storefront look more polished.
• Stronger independence: Customers see only your brand, without confusion from the platform label.
• Exclusive benefit: As an exclusive benefit for paid subscribers, this feature is automatically activated. Available to paid subscribers as part of advanced customization features.

Brand attribution: Automatic hiding and restoring display

TIP

Trial merchants must first upgrade to a paid subscription plan to hide the brand attribution. It will then be hidden automatically.

• Automatic Hiding: Upon subscribing to a paid plan, the Genstore brand attribution is automatically hidden, and no further action is required from you.
• Restoring the Display (If needed): If you have a specific need to show the "Made with Genstore" attribution, please follow these steps:
  • In your Genstore admin, go to Online Store -> Preferences.
  • Scroll down to the Remove branding section.
  • Deselect the option Hide “Made with Genstore”.
  • Save your changes.

TIP

• Removing the attribution only affects the storefront display. It has no impact on your admin settings or SEO.
• After saving your changes, the setting will take effect on the next store visit. If you don’t see the update, try refreshing the page.
