Blogs
A blog is a powerful content marketing tool for online stores. By regularly posting articles about products, industry trends, and helpful information, a blog not only helps build trust and communication with customers but also boosts your store’s search engine ranking, attracting more potential customers.

Create blog post
- Log in to the Genstore admin dashboard and go to Online Store -> Blog posts.
- Click Create blog post in the top-right corner.
- In the pop-up window, set your blog title, summary, body, SEO settings, publish date, cover image, author details, and more, then click Save. The new blog will automatically appear in the Blog articles list. For more details, see Create blog post.
Blog collections
Genstore allows you to organize your blogs into collections, making it easier to group related posts together.
- Log in to the Genstore admin dashboard and go to Online Store -> Blog posts.
- Click Blog collection, you'll find the available collections. Here, you can perform the following actions:
- Edit: Click the Edit button next to a blog entry to modify its content.
- Delete: Click Delete to remove a blog. Note: Once deleted, all associated articles will also be removed and cannot be restored.
- Preview: Click Preview to see how the blog will appear to visitors, ensuring the content displays as expected.

- Edit the blog collection title
- Optimize SEO settings for better search engine visibility
- Manage comments: Choose to disable comments, enable them, or allow comments with approval required before they appear online.
Manage blog comments
- Log in to the Genstore admin dashboard and navigate to Online Store -> Manage comments.
- View the comments for your blog collections. You can take the following actions:
- Mark as Spam: Flag comments as spam if they are inappropriate or irrelevant.
- Delete: Remove comments that are no longer needed.
Add blog navigation
To make it easier for customers to access your blog, you can add a link to the blog page in your store's navigation:
- Log in to the Genstore admin dashboard.
- Go to Online Store -> Navigation.
- Click Add navigation, then fill in the navigation title and URL handle.
- In Menu items, click Add menu item, name it (e.g., "Product Blog"), and link it to the blog page, then click Save.
- Click Save to finalize and save your blog navigation settings.
