Dashboard overview: Navigating your key metrics

Your Dashboard Overview serves as the command center for your key metrics, offering a snapshot within your selected time frame. We use cards to highlight critical data points, such as Total Sales, Orders, Customers, and Sessions. A funnel chart visually represents the conversion journey from online store sessions to items added to cart, and finally to completed payments. This clear visualization allows you to quickly assess your store's performance and identify areas for improvement.

What you can gain

  • Quick insight into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Get an at-a-glance view of your store's vital statistics.
  • Understanding the conversion funnel: See how users move from visiting your store to adding items to their cart and completing purchases, helping you understand customer behavior.

With the Dashboard Overview, we ensure that you can make informed decisions based on real-time data, ensuring your store operates at its best.

The Sessions analytics module offers a detailed look at how sessions trend over time with a line chart. It also includes donut charts to show the distribution of sessions by location, referrer, and device type. A combination chart displays the number of sessions and converted sessions for both new and returning visitors, with a line graph showing the conversion rates for each. This module helps you understand where your traffic is coming from and how effectively it converts.

  • Visibility into session trends: Track how your sessions change over time.
  • Breakdown of traffic sources: Understand where your visitors are coming from and how they access your site.
  • Conversion insights: Analyze the conversion rates of new versus returning visitors.

Conversion analytics: Enhancing your sales funnel

The Conversion analytics module analyzes your online store's overall conversions and search conversions. It tracks trends in click-through rates, add-to-cart rates, and purchase conversion rates. A bar chart showcases landing page conversions, allowing you to see the top-performing landing pages in terms of sessions and conversion rates. Additionally, it analyzes the conversion performance of different marketing event targets.

What you can gain

  • Detailed conversion analysis: Understand how different aspects of your store contribute to conversions.
  • Landing page performance: Identify which landing pages drive the most conversions.
  • Marketing event insights: Evaluate the effectiveness of your marketing events.

Sales analytics: Monitoring your revenue growth

The Sales analytics module highlights Total Sales and Sales Attributed to Marketing, displaying their aggregated values and growth rates compared to the previous period. A bar chart helps you analyze top traffic referrers, providing a clear picture of where your sales are coming from. Key sales metrics such as Orders, Total Sales, Customers, and Sales Attributed to Marketing are tracked over time, giving you a comprehensive view of your sales performance.

What you can gain

  • Sales performance overview: Get a clear view of your total sales and marketing-attributed sales.
  • Traffic referrer analysis: Identify the most effective sources of traffic that drive sales.
  • Trend analysis: Track the growth and changes in key sales metrics over time.

Product and channel analytics: Uncovering your best sellers

The Product and channel analytics module provides rankings of top sales products and pie charts that illustrate the distribution of categories, channels, product vendors, and markets. This module offers a comprehensive analysis of product and channel performance, helping you understand which products and channels are driving sales and where there might be opportunities for growth.

Session and visitor data explanation

Session and visitor counts are based on cookie technology. Every time a visitor accesses your store, the system stores two different cookies on their device:

  • Visitor cookie: This is used to identify the device, essentially marking it as a unique visitor. Each device (e.g., desktop, phone) gets its own unique visitor identifier.
  • Session cookie: This tracks the duration and activity of the session. If the visitor doesn’t interact with the store for a period of time, the session is considered ended.

Session end criteria:

  • If there is no activity (such as clicking or browsing) for 30 minutes, the session will automatically end.
  • Additionally, any session that hasn’t ended by midnight UTC is considered closed at that time.

Since the same visitor can access the store multiple times, triggering new sessions with each visit, the number of sessions is usually higher than the number of visitors. For example:

  • A visitor browses your store for 20 minutes, then leaves. Two hours later, they return. This will be counted as 1 visitor and 2 sessions.
  • If a visitor leaves after browsing for 5 minutes, then returns after 10 minutes, it will be recorded as 1 visitor and 1 session.

This method of tracking helps you accurately monitor and analyze visitor behavior, providing insights into how users interact with your store. This data can then be used to optimize sales and improve user experience.
