Apply for an SMS sending number

To help you send SMS messages successfully, Genstore offers free sending numbers based on your target regions (multi-country support available):

• United States & Canada: toll-free numbers (TFN)
• Europe & Asia-Pacific: branded sender IDs

You only need to complete a one-time registration to receive the appropriate number(s).

How to enable SMS

You can enable SMS during the initial setup guide, or follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Genstore admin and go to Marketing > SMS marketing.
2. Click Settings in the top right.
3. Click Register SMS number for free.
4. Select the countries or regions where you plan to send messages (multi-select supported).
5. Click Next.
6. Enter your business information, including company name and contact details.
7. Provide a branded sender ID (for supported countries only).
8. Click Submit to complete your registration.

Verification and approval

In some countries or regions, your SMS number must be approved by telecom carriers. They’ll review your business and sender ID details to ensure authenticity and compliance.
