Store notifications

You can send notifications to both customers and staff through your store. All notifications and their details are available for viewing and management in the Settings -> Notifications section of the Genstore admin.

Manage sender

To ensure your store’s email notifications are sent properly, you need to verify a valid sender email address.

Steps:

  1. In Genstore admin, go to Settings -> Notifications.
  2. Click Manage sender.
  3. Enter the sender name, email address, reply email address, and verify the email address.
  4. Click Save.

TIP

By default, the sender name is set to your store name, and the sender email will appear as [email protected]. We recommend using a branded email address as your sender email to present a professional image and increase brand recognition. Learn how to update your sender email.

Set up notification channels

  • Customer-facing store notifications support email, with some also supporting SMS.
  • Staff-facing store notifications support email, with some also supporting store admin notifications.

Steps:

  1. In Genstore admin, go to Settings -> Notifications.
  2. Find the notification you want to set up.
  3. Use the toggle to turn the corresponding channel on or off.
