Uninstall apps

In Genstore, you can easily manage your installed apps, including uninstalling apps you no longer need, reinstalling previously uninstalled apps, and reviewing your app's installation and uninstallation history.

Uninstall an app

You can uninstall apps directly from the Apps page in your Genstore admin dashboard. Keep in mind that some apps may modify your store templates. Before uninstalling such apps, make sure you check if there are any additional steps required. If you have questions, contact the app developer for support via the Apps page.

Steps to uninstall:

  1. Log in to your Genstore admin dashboard and go to the Apps page.
  2. Find the app you want to uninstall, click the ... (more options) next to the app, and select Uninstall app.
  3. (Optional) Choose a reason for uninstalling from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click Uninstall to remove the app from your store.

View uninstalled apps

You can view both installed and uninstalled apps on the Apps page in Genstore.

Steps:

  1. In your Genstore admin dashboard, go to the Apps page.
  2. Click the Uninstalled tab to see a list of uninstalled apps.

Reinstall an uninstalled app

You can reinstall apps you've uninstalled earlier, and view details like how many times the app was installed or uninstalled.

Steps to reinstall:

  1. In your Genstore merchant dashboard, go to the Apps page.
  2. Click the Uninstalled tab and find the app you want to reinstall.
  3. Click Install to reinstall the app.

View app installation or uninstallation history

You can track the full history of your apps in the Genstore admin dashboard, including both installation and uninstallation events.

Steps to view history:

  1. In your Genstore admin dashboard, go to the Apps page.
  2. Click the Installed or Uninstalled tab to find the app.
  3. Click the app's name to open its details page.
  4. In the App history section of the app's details page, you can view both installation and uninstallation events.
    • If there are more than three events, click View all to see the full timeline.
    • Click on any event in the timeline to view more details, such as the uninstallation reason, description, and the person who performed the action.
