View marketing campaign performance

In the Genstore admin dashboard, the Marketing homepage allows you to evaluate the overall impact of your marketing efforts through four key metrics: sessions, orders, total sales, and conversion rate.

By default, the system displays performance data for the past 30 days. Below is a breakdown of each metric:

MetricDescription
SessionsThe number of interactions users have with your store through the marketing campaign. A new session is automatically started if a user is inactive for 30 minutes.
OrdersThe total number of orders attributed to the marketing campaign.
Total revenueThe total revenue attributed to the marketing campaign, calculated as the amount the customer paid minus any after-sale adjustments.
Conversion rateThe percentage of sessions that resulted in a purchase from visitors to your store.
  • Genstore uses the last non-direct click attribution model by default.

Interactive reporting

Click on any summary card (e.g. Sessions, Orders) to view a detailed report and customize your analysis:

  • Date range: Select a preset period (e.g. Last month) or define a custom start and end date
  • Time granularity: Choose to view trends by year, month, day, or hour
  • Metric selection: View session count, order volume, sales amount, or conversion rate
  • Export & print: Download your report in CSV format for external use or sharing

The report also breaks down performance by marketing channel (such as email, social media, automation), helping you understand each source’s contribution over time.
