Professional design

The professional design mode is a professional-grade creative tool. Whether you are uploading your own artwork or creating from scratch using built-in features, this tool helps you generate print-ready files and high-quality product mockups.

TIP

For products supports multiple print technique, select your preferred printing technology before proceeding with design and mockup configuration.

Design workflow

1. Log in to the Genstore merchant admin, select a specific product, and click Start design on the product card.
2. Click the Professional design button located in the top-left corner of the page.
3. Once you are in the design took, click to choose the desired print technique (e.g., DTG, embroidery, full print).
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the design process.

Assets and creative tools

• Custom uploads: Support for uploading local design files. All uploaded assets are saved in your asset library for easy future reuse.
• Text tools: Customize fonts and colors, with support for applying pattern fill effects to your text.
• Extensive asset library: Choose from multi-themed Clipart and gain access to premium curated assets. All selected assets are automatically stored in your library for streamlined access.
• Quick templates: Access a collection of fully editable pre-set layouts, allowing for rapid on-demand customization.

Layout and editing

• Place your designs on different print areas (front, back, sleeves, tags, etc.).
• Adjust the size, position, and rotation of design elements, or configure layer blending effects.
• Monitor print quality alerts to ensure your image resolution meets professional printing standards.
• Apply background colors or patterns to print areas, or utilize premium curated assets.

All-over print (AOP) tools

• Seamless pattern generation: Within the Fill tab, you can use the Apply background to all placements feature to instantly transform clip art, custom uploads, or sample files into a seamless repeating pattern.
• Precision layout control: Use the dedicated sliders to adjust pattern spacing, rotation angles, and alignment for a perfect visual arrangement.
• Cross-placement synchronization: In the Layer panel, select a design element and click ⋮ -> Duplicate to to copy the design to other print areas with a single click, ensuring a consistent brand look across the entire product.

Choose mockup images

Product mockups demonstrate how your design will look on the physical product, providing you with high-quality imagery for your store. Once your design is complete, you can:

• Select multiple angles: Choose from various mockup perspectives to showcase the product comprehensively.
• Set primary image: Freely designate any specific mockup as the main product image.
• Sync to store: Push your selected mockup images directly to your product list alongside the item details.
