Customize thank you page

The thank you page is the confirmation page customers see after completing payment. It not only confirms the order but also serves as a valuable touchpoint for encouraging repeat purchases and engagement. This guide will help you understand its structure, editing options, and customization capabilities.

Select a page

In the editor’s top navigation bar, click the dropdown arrow next to Home to view the list of supported page types for the current market.

  • Select Thank you page to open the default template.

You can also access the thank you page directly from the Page management section.

Page structure

The thank you page is divided into the following sections:

  • Order confirmation: Displays basic order details such as the order number and order status.
  • Shipping and payment summary: Shows the shipping address, payment method, and related costs.
  • Product list: Lists the purchased products and their quantities.
  • Next steps: Guides customers to register an account, track their order, or contact customer support.

Global styles

The thank you page inherits the global styles of your store theme, including fonts and primary colors. You can override specific elements to maintain brand consistency while highlighting key details.

  • Custom Liquid Add Liquid code in the sidebar to display personalized logic or dynamic content. For example, show tailored thank-you messages or custom product recommendations for different customer groups.
  • App embeds A reserved area at the top of the thank you page allows you to embed third-party apps or marketing tools. For example, you can insert product recommendation modules or social sharing buttons to drive repeat purchases and encourage word-of-mouth.

All edits can be previewed instantly in the editor, without switching back and forth between the storefront and the editor.
