Accepted payment methods
If your business is located in the US or Hong Kong SAR, you can activate Genstore Payments when setting up your Genstore store. Once activated, the system will automatically support popular local credit card payments. The fees will depend on your subscription plan, and you can change your plan at any time.
This guide explains how to use Genstore Payments to accept payments in Genstore. Genstore Payments is a payment solution that allows businesses to accept credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, China UnionPay, and also offers consumer-friendly payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Genstore Payments fees
The fees for Genstore Payments vary by country or region. For detailed pricing information, visit your country or region's plan and pricing page. The rates are based on the subscription plan you choose.
To view the specific fees for your store, follow these steps:
- In Genstore admin, click Settings, and select Payments.
- Under Genstore Payments, click Payment method. Click View on the Payment rates banner.

Store currency and payment methods
You can only enable payment methods for your market if the corresponding currency is supported. For instance, if you’re serving the Chinese market, you won’t be able to accept payments via American Express since the Chinese currency is RMB, which is not supported by American Express.
You can change your market's currency by navigating to Settings -> Markets, then selecting the target market. On the market details page, go to Market settings -> Products and pricing.
