Customer accounts
The customer accounts pages allow shoppers to register, log in, view, and update personal information. They are essential for building a customer system and delivering personalized services. Genstore provides standard customer account pages with basic style customization, suitable for B2C merchants.
Page types
The system includes the following customer account pages (each supports separate template settings):
- Register: Customers can create an account by filling in details or using a social login.
- Login: Supports email/password login or third-party accounts.
- Reset password: Customers can reset passwords after email verification.
- Address management: View, add, edit, and delete shipping addresses.
- Account homepage: View profile details, order history, and manage addresses.
How to access
- Log in to Genstore admin.
- Go to Online store -> Themes.
- Find your theme and click Customize to open the theme editor.
- In the top navigation bar, open the page selector and choose Customer accounts.
- Expand Customer accounts and select the page template you want to edit.
- Click the template to edit sections and blocks in the left panel, and adjust styles in the right panel.
Style and layout settings
Some customer account pages support basic style adjustments to optimize visual presentation. Common options include:
- Title style: Adjust heading size.
- Layout style: Choose horizontal or vertical layout.
- Card mode: Enable to add borders and shadows.
- Section padding: Adjust top and bottom spacing.
Tip: Available options vary by page. Check the right panel in the editor to confirm supported settings, and preview changes before publishing.
