Set up store policies

You can add or create the following policies for your Genstore store:

  • Return and refund policy
  • Privacy policy
  • Terms of service
  • Shipping policy
  • Contact information

Add a policy

Steps:

  1. In the Genstore admin, go to Settings -> Policies.
  2. Click the policy you want to add or create.
  3. Enter your store policy, or click Insert template to generate the default template. Use the rich text editor to style your policy, add links, and insert images.
  4. Review the policy and make any changes if needed.
  5. Click Confirm to publish the policy.

TIP

  • While Genstore can generate templates, make sure to comply with all relevant laws and regulations when adding any policy. Be sure to carefully review each policy before posting.
  • After adding your store policies, the policy links will automatically appear in the footer of the checkout page. For easier access, it’s a good idea to add these links to your store menu before checkout.
