Ship orders
After a customer places an order, you need to prepare the products based on the order details and contact the logistics provider to ship them to the specified delivery address.
Genstore offers two convenient shipping methods to meet the needs of different merchants:
- Shipping via Genstore logistics platform: Utilize Genstore's integrated logistics resources for fast and efficient shipping.
- Merchant self-delivery: Merchants arrange their own logistics and upload shipping information.
Fulfill via Genstore
You can fulfill orders quickly and efficiently through the Genstore platform. This integrated solution allows you to manage everything from rate comparison to label printing in one place. Note: You have to first chosen your logistic service provider before you can use the Genstore logistic service.
Fulfillment steps
- Access the fulfillment dashboard: Log in to your Genstore admin and navigate to Store -> Orders -> Shipping.
- Start the purchase: Locate your order in the Pending list and click Buy shipping label.
- Verify shipment details:
- Address check: Confirm both the sender (origin) and recipient (destination) addresses.
- Package information: Enter the dimensions and weight of your parcel. You can input these manually or select a saved package template.
- Select shipping service:
- Genstore Shipping users: The system will automatically display real-time rates, services, and estimated transit times from multiple carriers for you to compare.
- Shippo users: After selecting your ship date, click Get cost to retrieve the shipping details associated with your Shippo account.
- Complete purchase and print: Once you have selected your preferred route, click Buy shipping label. You can then print the shipping label, attach it to your parcel, and hand it over to the carrier.
Merchant self-delivery
If you choose to arrange your own logistics, you can upload the shipping tracking number through the order list or order details page by following these steps:
- Log in to Genstore admin, and click Store -> Orders in the left navigation bar to enter the Order list.
- Check the target order, and click Mark as shipped. You can also click the order number to directly enter the order details page and click Mark as shipped.
- In the new window, enter the logistics Tracking number. The tracking number will be displayed in Genstore admin and client order details.
- Fill in the shipping carrier, or select it from the drop-down list.
- Confirm the shipped products and quantity. Note: Only unshipped products and the quantity to be shipped will be displayed on the current page. Click Ship order.
