TikTok account requirements

To use the TikTok sales channel, you’ll need to create or connect the following accounts:

• TikTok for Business account: Offers access to ad creation, audience engagement tools, and creative asset management. You can: - Create and manage ads in TikTok Ads Manager. - Manage your brand in TikTok Business Center. - Use organic TikTok videos for Spark Ads. > Note: You can convert or connect your personal TikTok account when setting up a Business account.
• TikTok Business Center account: Centralized platform for managing organizational roles, permissions, and assets. A Business account is required to access it.
• TikTok Ads Manager account: Used to create ad campaigns, manage creatives, view reports, and optimize performance.

Install and authorize Genstore

1. Go to the Genstore App Store, search for Tiktok. If you already in Genstore admin, click Apps on the left navigation panel, search for Tiktok.
2. Click the app card to open the details page.
3. Click Install to return to your Genstore admin.
4. Review the requested permissions, then click Install in the top-right corner to complete the installation.
5. [Optional] Pin the app to your sidebar for quick access by clicking the pin icon next to its name.

Set up TikTok sales channel and complete product sync

1. Log in to your Genstore admin.
2. Go to Sales channels -> TikTok. If you haven’t pinned the app, you can find it under the Installed section on the Apps page—click to open it.
3. Click Connect TikTok account to start the setup process.
4. Follow the prompts to connect the required accounts: - TikTok for Business - Business Center - Ads Manager
5. Set up data sharing: - Choose your data sharing level: Standard, Enhanced, or Maximum. - Select or create a TikTok Pixel to track performance and conversions.
6. Click Complete setup to finish connecting the TikTok sales channel.
7. After the setup is complete, the system will automatically mark your store products as available on the TikTok sales channel and sync them to the TikTok product catalog.

Disconnect TikTok account

If you no longer want to use the TikTok sales channel:

1. Log in to Genstore admin.
2. Go to Sales channels -> TikTok.
3. Click Settings (top right).
4. Expand the TikTok account settings and click Disconnect.

Adjust TikTok data sharing preferences

1. Log in to Genstore admin.
2. Go to Sales channels -> TikTok.
3. Click Settings (top right).
4. Expand the Data sharing section.
5. Toggle your Data sharing preference and click Confirm to save.

Unlink TikTok Pixel

1. Log in to Genstore admin.
2. Go to Sales channels -> TikTok.
3. Click Settings (top right).
4. Expand the Data sharing section.
5. Click Unlink next to the TikTok Pixel to remove or replace it.
