Manage store brand assets
By setting up your store’s brand assets, you can add a logo, brand colors, social media links, and other elements to ensure a consistent brand image across all sales channels, themes, and apps.
Logo
Add a unique logo to represent your brand. Genstore allows you to upload both a default logo and a square logo to ensure optimal display across different platforms and applications. Keep in mind that some platforms, such as social media, may crop logos into a circular shape.
Upload requirements
Before uploading, ensure that your logo meets the following specifications for the best display:

Upload a logo
- Log in to the Genstore admin, navigate to Settings -> General.
- In the Brand assets section, click Manage.
- In the Logos section, upload your brand logo or select one from the media library. You can also search for an image by name or upload a new image from your device.
- Repeat step 3 to select or upload a square logo.
- Click Save.
TIP
- If your logo does not meet the format or resolution requirements, the system will prompt you to adjust it. Ensure the file meets the guidelines before proceeding.
- Each logo type supports only one file at a time. You can update or delete the existing logo whenever needed.
- Once the logo is uploaded for the first time, it will be automatically synced to all display locations across the site. If you update the logo later, you'll need to manually update it in the theme editor.
Colors
Setting brand colors is essential for maintaining consistency. Choose primary, secondary, and contrast colors to ensure a unified visual identity across different platforms.
Steps
- Log in to the Genstore admin, navigate to Settings -> General.
- In the Brand assets section, click Manage.
- In the Colors section, click to add a primary color.
- (Optional) The system will automatically generate a contrast color, but you can customize it to better match your brand identity.
- Repeat the process to select secondary and its contrast colors.
- Click Save.
Social media links
Adding social media links makes it easier to engage with customers. These links typically appear in the store’s footer or other designated areas.
Steps
- Log in to the Genstore admin, navigate to Settings -> General.
- In the Brand assets section, click Manage.
- In the Social media links section, click + Add social media link and select a social media platform from the dropdown menu, such as Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
- Enter the full URL in the provided field, such as
https://instagram.com/genstoreorhttps://twitter.com/genstore. - Click Save.
