Welcome to Genstore! We’ve streamlined the e-commerce journey using AI. At Genstore, you don't need to be a developer or a designer. Simply describe your vision to our AI assistant, and you'll have a professional storefront ready for the global market in minutes.

Step 1: Start the conversation

After signing up, you’ll be greeted by the AI chat interface. This is your command center.

• How it works: Simply describe what you want to sell in plain English. No technical jargon required.
• Need inspiration?: If you're stuck, click the "Prompt inspiration" cards (e.g., "Body-positive vintage store" or "Playful makeup brand") to kickstart the process instantly.

Step 2: Confirm category and style

Our AI analyzes your description to build a custom brand identity based on two pillars:

• Niche refinement: The AI narrows down broad ideas into profitable categories (e.g., turning "Apparel" into "Curated womenswear" or "Sustainable streetwear").
• Visual branding: It recommends a high-converting aesthetic, such as "Modern minimalist" or "Vintage chic."

TIP

Not feeling the vibe? Just tell the AI "Change the style" or "Try another category." It will pivot and offer new options immediately.

Step 3: Add your products

Genstore offers two flexible ways to stock your digital shelves, depending on your business model:

Option A: Dropshipping (The "hands-off" model)

• Best for: Entrepreneurs who want to launch without upfront inventory costs or warehouse overhead.
• How it works: Choose between reselling curated items from our Marketplace or launching your own brand with our POD custom design tools.
• The edge: Zero inventory risk. When a customer orders, the supplier ships directly to them. You focus on marketing; we handle the logistics.

Option B: Upload your own (The "brand-owner" model)

• Best for: Artisans, creators, or merchants with existing physical stock.
• How it works: Click "Upload images" to add your product photos.
• The edge: Our AI "scans" your product photos to automatically match the website’s UI colors and tone-of-voice to your specific items.
• Note: If your professional photos aren't ready yet, click "Skip upload" and add them later from your admin.

Step 4: Initialization and preview

Once your products are added, Genstore’s engine builds your backend and frontend infrastructure.

• Speed: Setup is lightning-fast, usually taking just a few minutes.
• Privacy: Your site is initially password-protected. Use your unique access password to review and fine-tune your store before the public sees it.

Step 5: Go live

When your store looks exactly how you want it, hit "Publish" to open your doors to the world.

• Unlock features: Publishing activates your full suite of marketing tools, payment gateways, and analytics.
• AI assistance: Your dedicated AI Agent will remain available to help you navigate your dashboard and grow your sales.

Q1. Can I create more than one store?

A: Yes. Click your Store logo in the top-left corner of the Genstore admin, hit the dropdown arrow, and select "Create store" at the bottom.

Q2. Are the dropshipping suppliers reliable?

A: We vet every supplier for quality and shipping speed. The sourcing library provides transparent wholesale pricing, high-res imagery, and real-time inventory tracking. Once a sale is made, the fulfillment process is automated to ensure a seamless customer experience.
