Manage your Genstore account
You can access and manage your Genstore account by logging in to Genstore admin or any connected store backend.
Overview
Genstore allows you to manage the following account settings:
- Update or delete your personal information such as name, email, and profile photo.
- Connect third-party login services like Apple, Facebook, or Google.
- View all stores linked to your account.
- Change the display language of the Genstore Admin Console.
Update account details
You can upload or edit your profile photo, update your first and last name, change your email address, or reset your account password.
Steps:
- Log in to the Genstore admin and click your account in the lower-right corner.
- Click Manage account.
- In the Details section, update any of the following:
- To add or change your profile photo, click Upload photo.
- To update your name, enter new values in the corresponding fields.
- Click Save.
Verify or update your login email
If your email is marked as "Unverified", click Resend verification email at the top of the page and follow the instructions in your inbox.
To update your login email:
- Click the pencil icon next to your current email.
- Enter your new email and current password in the pop-up window.
- Click Send verification code, then complete the verification process via email.
- Once verified, click Save.
To reset your password:
- Click Reset password next to your email.
- You will receive a password reset email.
- Open the email and click Reset password.
- Set a new password and use it to log in again.
Connect external login services
For improved account security and easier access, you can link your Genstore account to external login services such as Apple, Facebook, or Google.
TIP
Please verify your email before linking any external service.
Steps:
- In the Genstore admin, click your account in the lower-right corner.
- Click Manage account.
- Under Connected login, click Connect next to the desired service.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete authorization.
View linked stores
In the Manage account section, you can view and access all stores associated with your account.
Steps:
- In the Genstore admin, click your account in the lower-right corner.
- Click Manage account.
- In the Stores section, click View all stores.
- On the Store list page, click any store to access its admin dashboard.
Change admin panel language
Changing your account language only affects the Genstore Admin Console. It does not impact the language of your online storefront.
Steps:
- In the Genstore admin, click your account in the lower-right corner.
- Click Manage account.
- In the Language section, open the dropdown menu and select your preferred language.
- Click Save.
